Follow Route 5 going north of Seattle Washington until you get to the border then get on I 99 heading west until you get up by the Bowen island. Stay heading northwest through the wondrous mountains until you get into Alaska. Get on glorious water and get on the Channel then head northwest until you get to clearance straight, then get onto strikine straight until you get to the inside passage then follow this passage all the way up to the one and only Juneau, Alaska where you can learn and do many great things.

Dog mushing is where you race with 16 dogs on your team and you race people from all around the country and from people in Europe. Alaska offers a lot of different races and opportunities for people to enjoy this amazing race. You train your dogs in Fairbanks and that is where the race begins. You go for thousand of miles and days of dog sledding but in the end you can tell you had a lot of fun.

Unlike any other race in the world, the Iditarod dog sled race is a race over 1,150 miles of the most extreme and beautiful terrain known to man.
